several problems with my 91 d350

Well to begin with i have a 91 12 valve with 180,000 miles. i am getting back pressure through my radiator. oil and coolant is coming back through my radiator cap. i pulled my head and had it re-worked. magna fluxed, new valve guide the whole deal. reinstalled the head and im still getting oil in my radiator. next thing i did was replaced the oil cooler. i bought a 94 dodge that has a 12 valve in it and robbed the oil cooler off of it. installed it on my 91 and im still getting oil in my radiator. any ideas on what might be going on with this thing?

Gotta be the head gasket or the oil cooler. Which job do you think you might have screwed up?

Did you completely flush your cooling system? It might be left over, unless it's getting pressurized, then I don't know. Also, when you say you got the head reworked, does that include resurfacing?

Is there any chance you set the head down on one of the compression rings in the head gasket when you were reinstalling it? I hope you can get it figured out, I hate having a broken truck, especially if I can't figure out why it broke.

Eliot5569 your an oilfield mechanic. So I think being a mechanic you checked the oil cooler you installed making sure it was good. You did clean and check the block close for any visible cracks ect, and looked down your cylinder bored for the same. It has to be or i'd think one of four things, cylinder head, oil cooler, head gasket, or cracked block. You overlooked something. Now go put your good eye on it again and re-check. Did it do this over time or just happened? Good luck and howdy neighbor.
