I'd sell mine for the right price, too. I wanted a 2nd gen when I bought mine but couldn't find a decent one I could afford. I'm not unhappy with my truck and have no plans to sell it, but if somebody was willing to pay me enough I'd sell. It'd be way more that the truck is "worth", though.

My dog is not for sale.

turbo

I have 90 4x4 stock. How do you tell what turbo housing I have? Where do you drill and tap for pyro? What housing would be best for modest power upgrades? How much trouble is it to pull turbo so I can keep drill shavings out? 197,000 on it now. thanks JM...guess I got the bug now.

We've been hijacked!

JetMech, I'd be happy to share my opinions if you want to start a new thread instead of 'jacking this one.

I paid 11K for mine this last June and was concerned that I might have taken a beating but I see it isn't to far out of line plus the truck was super clean with 97K.

Last year I missed out on my favorite 1st gen of all time. It was about 120 miles away at a Dodge dealer. It was a bone stock 4x4 regular cab, LE, painted two tone copper and metallic sand with Driftwood interior. It had about 120,000 miles and sold for around $11,500.

The ext cabs go for $2-3k higher than reg cabs around here.

I ran across a guy over Thanksgiving weekend who bought his 4x4 LE reg cab for $4000 and it only had 110,000 miles on it.

Canucktrucks, you're in Canada!!

Of course you got 13 k for your truck. The exchange rate=somewhere around the 9-10 k another member mentioned. Not to steal thunder from a fellow Canadian, but you didn't make off like a bandit on that one. Just a fair price. Sorry.

Your right, I did'nt make out like a bandit, the exchange is at 21% right now, So I only got about 10,800.00 US Dollars for it.......but considering it was the second time I owned the truck and I had just bought it back for $9,500.00 Canadian 2 weeks before, I faired out NOT too bad, but considering as of this afternoon, I have had 34 phone calls on the truck, well maybe I could have got $15,000.00 Canadian, which is about $12,200.00 US DOLLARS.....Plus as you can see by the pictures in my Gallery, the truck was kinda rough !!!!!

He wanted to buy it, and that's what I decided it would take.... but I'm having second thoughts on parting with my baby.

I'd sell most material things i own for the right price but you're dog, come on that's family. If it came down to a truck or dog i know which one i'd take.
