I would like your guys opinion on seats. Currently I have a bench seat that was welded in Since it is a Club Cab I was wondering what seat would fit in there real nice and approx. for material. Some pics would be nice too! The bench is red while the rest of the truck is gray. I was think captain seats(?) center console deal. I am seat illiterate. What is the difference between captain and bucket seats? I am not worried about fabbing as I can do that pretty easily. And where did ya get them, new or boneyard? Thanks Ya'll!

I've seen pics floating around on here of a truck with minivan seats in it. Those should be pretty cheap in the junkyard.

Captain's chairs have armrests.

I really like 1st gen seats. They are very comfortable on long trips. A set out of a Ramcharger would work fine, as well as the console.

 

I've odered a set of after market seats from a company that we deal with, they make race seats and bench seats for trucks jeeps and off road race cars.

The race seats I ordered have low sides and the head rest is bent forward for better fitment in a single cab truck. We will be using my truck as a chase truck for the Baja 1000 this year, so the race seats and a roll-cage are in the plans.

I looked at the Ram Charger buckets and center console, around here the salvage yard wanted $700 and they were in no wqay close to being in great condition
