Sach's clutch....clutch only?

Does anyone know if you can buy just the clutch for a 92 W250 4x4 and not the pressure plate and flywheel that comes in a "kit". I can't afford $600.00 for a whole kit and the flywheel and pressure plate appear to be in great condition. My rebuilt Getrag is gonna wipe my funds out and cant afford a whole clutch "kit". Any idea's ?

You can get a complete kit, minus the flywheel, from Peter at southbend clutch for less than $400 last time I checked. thats pressure plate, disk, pilot bushing, and throwout bearing.

For just the plate just check your local auto parts store.

Do you have a contact name or number for Peter at Southbend Clutch? Or their website if they have one? Thank you.

South Bend is not a fan of the Sach's clutch. They will say one of their 12" clutches is better.

Well, the 12" Con-O will hold more power without slipping - and it will break before it slips.

Everyone repeat after me: "No 12 inch clutch is an upgrade."

Our stock clutch is a 13" Sachs. They cheaped out on the 2nd gens and used a 12".
