I just got my new(too me) truck home. Its a 1993 CTD 4x4 club cab(more details to follow). I was curious If anyone had any pros or cons about either RV plates or truck plates. I live in Illinois. They are the same price. Just looking for peoples opinions before I go get plates.

I have not done it for a long time but I had a truck with rv plates on it a long time ago. Nobody seem to care except the local neighborhood covenant ****. The covenants stated no rvs could be parked on the street and since my truck had rv plates I started getting nasty grams in the mail. Pickups could park on the street no problem it was just that I had rv plates. Ended having to hassle with Board of Directors who agreed that it was pure crap that this one person was complaining about it as the rule was obviously written for real rv's not pickup trucks. They gave me written waiver.
