Rod knock?

About a month ago. I haven't run it more than 3000 rpm. Seems kinda wierd. Unless I might have adjusted one to tight maybe? At least someone other than me can hear it. My wife and son think I'm crazy. I've been at this for 3 days.
How bad would one have to be bent. Could u see it with the naked eye or not

I listened to a lot of 1st gen Cummins run and something sounds off with yours.
I am not sure what to check next, but I will back you up that is sounds funny. It seems to change as you loosen that 3rd injector line.

Yep. It goes away. I feel like I'm at a cross road. Pull head. And chance wasting a gasket set. Or pull the whole thing and just do it. I guess time will tell. I don't want to totally trash the motor by just keep driving it.

It does not sound good to me either. However, I don't think it's loud enough to be a rod knock, the audio quality could be deceiving though.
This is what I would do first, measure the valve clearance and then measure how far the valves are opening. You may need a dial indicator for this. Compare it against another cylinder. If it is off pull the pushrods and roll them on a flat surface to see if they are bent as deere country has suggested. If the valve lift is off but the pushrods are not bent you have a cam and/or lifter problem. Look at the pushrod ends and the rockers closely. If that is all good it's time to pull the head and oil pan then pop that piston out for inspection.

I'll pull the push rod either late this evening or tomar morning. If that's not it I'll pull the head. This is not how I wanted to spend my summer. Anyway.
I guess I'll be doing some form of a rebuild. Gotta start pricing parts.
