Hehehe yeah hindsight 20/20. I suppose you can use a R/R box out of an '80s chevy van or have a custom r/r box made up with the smaller, weaker 3/4 input as well.
I don't know about the 13/16" input being only 32 splines though. I counted 18 for the half of the shaft. x2 = 36...
And the 13/16" steering ujoint only comes in a 36 spline. I checked every where there were no 32 spline 13/16" joints. (Sweet, Borgenson, Flaming River etc.)

I guess I got a fast ratio modified gearbox out of a wreaking yard. Out of all the powerwagons being junked I get that one. Things like that dont happen often.

While a late-model B-car or Monte power steering box swap appears simple, there are a couple of small parts you will need to complete the conversion. Steering boxes for the early '64 to '75 cars used a 13/16-inch-diameter input shaft with 36 splines. After 1976, all GM power steering boxes were changed to a smaller 3/4-inch input shaft with 30 splines. The newer, fast ratio boxes all have the 3/4-inch input shaft with 30 splines. This requires a steering coupler (also called a rag joint) that will fit on the new box input shaft and also bolt up to the older steering columns. Luckily, the '77 to '82 C/K and the two-wheel-drive '83 to '86 Chevy and GMC trucks, as well as the '77 to '78 Camaro, Firebird, and Nova also used this style coupler. We've listed both the original GM steering coupler and aftermarket part numbers that you can use to make this connection.

Post 65 is still wrong general motors or any major american auto manufacture in modern times ever made a steering shaft with a 13/16-32 spline.
Now whats even funnier how on gods green earth could Borgenjunk sell you 13/16-32 U-jiont ????

Yeah so I FINALLY got my truck on the road! 
The 13/16" 36 Spline U joint slipped right on my R/R box. So I cut the JEEP shaft (3/4 DD) and welded on the U JOINT. (It was 3/4 DD on the other side of hte 13/16)
The truck works great. But I took off the steering damper and now I have death wobble during slight breaking. Truck must be out of alignment between the front and back axles?!?

It's been overcast for most of the winter here, and not any snow to speak of. Nice weather coming up thursday... 60*f and sunny. Don't want the snow now.
Now the eternal question.
How much different does it feel ? Turning radius affected at all ? Any notable change ?
I bought the draglinks from rockatuto TRW DS869, but they differ just slightly from the ones that everyone else is using... as it's perfectly straight, with no bend in the one end. Is that what you used, or did you get the bendy bus one ? Got 2 for the price of one, so I own them now (closeout) Still the 4500 lob unit, though.
I assume you used the reinforcement bracket as well.

I bought a drag link from napa it has a curve. I ran straight links on the crew and ram charger with d60 with no issues even with 37" tires. The way it is curved is to provide a bit more tire clearance at full right turn.
Two and a half turns lock to lock. No difference in radius still hits steerin stops no prob.
Didn't have a steering brace an turns out the previous owner drilled the plate up to 9/16" bolts so would've been a pain to drill the bracket too. It is plenty strong anyway. The bracket was for the new style anyway.

All this crap makes me greatful that my truck with nothing but a Borgeson shaft drives amazing, and that's not my teen age opinion. My Grandpop and my Dad have both complimented how nice it drove several times. I think it's the good alignment I had done too when i put the 35's on, Drives even better on the big 35's than it does with my 33's on.....It feels like it's glued to the road.
My buddy's 93 W250 has TON of steering play to the right, but to the left it's tight. Very annoying to drive....... Mine is very tight and very snappy and my truck turns surprisingly sharp, possibly sharper than the 92 D250 with an entirely brand new front end.
This summer i do plan on lifting it 2" more in the front using Jungle Jim's heavy duty Shackle/hangar replacements. and at that time, if it drives any worse. I will probably install a panhard bar and possibly maybe even crossover steering, but doubtful if my current setup works as good as it does now.

Weren't you the one complaining about bob, now you're the one with the attitude ? What's your point ? This alteration was done to avoid the plate cracks that are inherent in these trucks, which you're already aware of. Seriously, If you have nothing positive or constructive to contribute, then try ignoring the thread, so that it doesn't make you appear as the negativity that you complained about.
