Well I cant get it out , but maybe it not the switch any way. I dont get power from either wire at the switch. I was reading that I should get power from one of them all the time with key on. What else could it be? thanks

 

When I had trouble with my backup lights it was a flaky connection in the main bulkhead connector.

Check fuse #3 first.
