My tail pipe on my 3.5" Banks exhaust has rusted out. The rest of the system is still very solid. We already know Banks will not have it

The local exhaust shop cannot bend 3.5" or 4.0" tubing. He did say he can make me a 3.5" to 4.0" adapter if needed though.

My question for you guys is, where can I get a 3.5" or 4" tailpipe for a 1st gen??
The other question is, does anyone know of a year of truck that used a 3.5" or 4.0" tailpipe stock that will fit my truck??

I do know that a 2006 tailpipe is 4", but it will not work. I looked under dad's 2006 to compare. It appears that pipe would hit the frame.

 

I would just order the 4" tailpipe on-line, and get the shop to make you the adapter.

I have a 4" tailpipe on it's way now. The local muffler shop said they can make me a 3.5" to 4" adapter.

Perhaps you can ask them if you could buy from them just the 4" tailpipe from their kit?

 

I've got one an it's way . .i forget the name of the place it was ordered from.
