My brother is jealous of my 5" tailpipe. I got a grand rock system from my local injection shop and they won't (says he can't) sell me just the tail pipe. My brother just wants a 5" straight pipe system and don't wan't the muffler or rest of the system. Any body know of a place?

Not sure of where to get one, but I hope your brother has enough HP to run a 5" system. He should atleast have 450-500 hp and a large enough turbo to get that exhaust out. Good luck.

OK I know I am going to regret this......HUH? What would be the ill effect of to big a exhaust? I would hate to think It would'nt come out the back. To low of EGT's?

I think he is just looking for a 5" tail pipe, not a 5" turbo back system...therefore, I do not believe it will have bad effects on power.

sorry, I can't help with this issue since I have only seen 4" tail pipes. try calling the exhaust companies advertised on this forum, they might allow you to buy just the tail pipe. good luck

I was speaking of a 5" tail only. But.....I must admit.....I didn't know....thank you for the advice. Didn't have time to read all the threads above but Im gonna when I get home. Thought I got kinda ripped with the 4" back to muffler then 5" tail in my ex. system kit. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Man I always learn something when I come on here.
He was just after deepening the sound.
