Relayed headlights

I relayed my headlights (high and low beams) - Works GREAT. I would say probably twice the light. when I tested the circuit before the mod, I was only getting 10.5 Volts. After it was the same as the battery voltage!

I just did it myself using some OEM relays from a junkyard truck using this diagram that someone else posted....



Still haven't decided if I was to run both beams at once or not.

I've been running both beams alot for a week now and love them. Like Wanna said, you don't get much more in distance but the ditches sure light up. I leave for work at 6am. I leave at 3:30pm but usually run out to the farm and work past dark. Then go home, a trip of about 25 miles on back country roads with litlle other traffic. Relays and both beams are a great mod in this case.
