I wear my sunglasses at night.....

I actually tried it, and I can still see where I'm going. 8)

I have one small situation though. I went on a night drive and no one flashed me until one little section of single lane highway. For about half a mile one out of three cars flashed me. Other than that everyone seemed fine.

;D ;D Holy $h!+ these things are BRIGHT. ;D ;D

How hard is it to convert to Sport Headlights with the HID lights? Is there a pre made kit that redoes the wiring or do I have to buy the stuff from Dodge? I plan on making mine a Sport one day and I am going to be getting some Christmas money so I will have a little bit of money to spend.

I got two hid kits for $720 from Mr. Jung on Ebay. One 9007 and one 9004. He is a pretty nice guy to deal with, but a bit slow to respond to e mails and hard to get a hold of sometimes. I got the 7000k kits, but would not recommend them unless you like blue light. I'm gonna swap the 7000k out for 5200k, which are white and a bit brighter.

Man, with a set up like that you could probably push people out of your way with the amount of photons coming out of the front of your truck. 8)

Any problems with heat build up? How long have you had them on continuosly?

MCMLV

No problem with heat build up. They run cooler than halogen bulbs.

I am having problems with Alan (Mister Jung) though. I want to change bulbs (7000k sucks for my eyes) and he won't respond to any of my e-mails. It is confusing me because he sounded like a really nice person on the phone. Oh well.

I have an 01 and I know the ground is switched instead of the power...

JR2

Re:What do you get with 4 real HID bulbs in the sport headlights?

I got an hd harness from coolbulb.com a long time ago which makes it a switching power system instead of switching ground. It just plugs into the stock harness, and I hacked that thing to make all of this work. Alan's kits come with little spade looking things crimped onto the end of the power wires that you're supposed to plug into the original plug. Then you can put electrical tape over them I guess. It would be a lot nicer if there were real plugs instead because I wouldn't trust those things at all. They are really half-baked. Either hard wire them into the original harness, get an hd harness of some kind, or deal with the silly spade things.

Alan finally replied, so I will let you know how things work out. I had to send him 3 or 4 e-mails to get a response.
Just FYI...... Anyone thinking of ordering a hid kit from Mister Jung..... don't. If you need something down the road, you won't get any post-sale support. All I want to do is just switch the 7000k bulbs for the 5200k. He said that I could, now he is saying otherwise. Dang it..... :'(

You'll pay more on other sites, but apparantly you get what you pay for.

Getting back on the 4x HID thread...talk some more. My buddy was asking about this, he's got a performance shop and can get HID's pretty cheap.
