THey were available from the dealer for a while, but not sure now.

It can be welded, you know.... No welding buddies nearby ?

BTW, the way that end is bent inwards leads me to believe that it came out of alignment or was bent by someone, then bent back and snapped. Your FSS wire was disconnected in the process as well.

The hoop should have a spring on the forwards side of it pulling it forwards. If that return spring is / was missing, that could be your cause for the snappage.

I'm sure Ollie has a ton of them....(cables, that is)

As for the fss it's still connected just on the other spade. I've had this truck not quite a year and I'm still working the bugs out of it. Thanks for your input

Ollie here jumping in...
I would start by welding it up and getting a spring for it. Then make sure it slides freely.
If that doesn't work, PM me and I will dig up a used OEM spare.

Yeah I just looked at your air horn picture.
There is room for improvement on that, which should be easy to do if your are a welder by trade.

I'm thinking at least 3/8 or 1/2 in h plate. Do it with a tig rig so it doesn't wArp with to much heat

That'll work. Just for reference The corners on my stock cast crossover flange Is 3/4" at the bolt holes where the plate that the throttle/tranny cables mount to.

Hey Dan,

While you're at it....

Make sure that bolt / nut / washer combination you have on the front of the pivot that leads to the Injection pump travel rod isn't hitting your kickdown cable.

Looks to me as if when it rotates up, it would wack that kickdown cable, which would explain why it was snapped off.....

I have a hard time convening my wife that it may take longer to do it right but you wont have to screw with it twice.
