radiator swap

radiator swap

I have a 90 non intercooled looking to change radiator to the cross flow just wonering if anyone had pictures of how they modified the core support and a parts list of what I need to do the swap thanks for the help

I dont have pics. but its real easy to do.
the left and right side of the core support needs to be cut down 2" or so. 2 holes drilled in the frame for the rubber bushings on the bottom of the rad. 2 upper rad. mounting brackets ( can be made). you can use 3 upper hoses cut to get water over to new inlet of rad.custom made shroud ,I dont have a shroud any more mine broke and fell in the fan ...disintegrated but I have no issues with heat any more.
if your wanting it to look stock you will need new fan/fan hub/tstat housing/shroud I recommend a t stat housing. a doner truck would be nice but not needed

I did mine also, real easy. I actually modified a gasser support to fit cross flow diesel.

A cut off wheel, mig welder and some paint.
