I bought a new radiator today, but there are differences between it and the original. I have comparo photos awaiting approval, but here are my observations:
The inlet is necked down on the new one, the outlet is longer than factory, the core looks a little thinner, but has three rows, and the pour in hole is much smaller.
The company pulled the OEM number off my radiator and swore that this is the right replacement.
Looks to me like it might be for a gasser instead....

Anyone know about this?

Looks like there may be a different radiator for Intercooled/air conditioned engines, but I'm not totally sure.

Any help here?

 

Intercooled are different than nonintercooled, but the n/i is a downflow.

 

I think it's OK.
