You have to modify the trans mount a little and I think shorten the drive shaft maybe.

Trans dipstick MAY need to be 'massaged' to fit correctly. Do this after you get the trans installed. I did it first and it drove me batty for a few minutes 'til I just pulled it out.
The end that goes into the trans MUST be straight up and down and use just a LITTLE silicone sealer on the o-rings...Spread some sealer on your finger and then wipe the o-rings - get rid of ANY globs by wiping them off before you put the tube into the trans.

OH - the bracket attachment didn't fit onto the bellhousing bolt hole correctly either - - - at least on mine.
Bt the time I got my new turbo on the tube needed to be bent into such contortions I pulled it out completely and bought a Lokar flexible dipstick for a 727 - fits nicely and I the top attached to the heater blower shroud.

Thanks guys. I need to be able to get the old trans out and the new one mounted in a day. I can't tie up the bosses hangar with an immobile vehicle.

If you use the dip stick tube out of your truck you will need to cut the ear off the bell housing that is right above the dip stick hole do it befor you put the tranny in . shifter mount on the frame I mounted it by putting front mounting hole in the rear frame hole than drilling a new rear mount hole. you may have to make the shifter rod longer. tranny cooler line the one that goes from the front of the tranny on the left side to cooler on the right side of the motor needs to be a inch longer get the one off a 94 up truck I beat the pitch seam flat on my truck it would have hit the bell housing my cab mounts are bad. Thanks for the tip on the dip stick, I'll be reusing my old one.
Shifter mount? Didn't think about that one.
How about the transfer case shifter?
If the fittings are the same, the cooling lines won't be a problem. I'm a tube bending fool.

That's what I tried, that's also why I bought the Lokar...
