Putting stock injectors back

Theyve been riding around my toolbox for a while so Im gonna take them to a diesel shop and have them tested and cleaned and maybe redone. I have a couple of questions. Are the top nuts/collar on nonintercooled injectors and pod's the same? Ive lost the ones that came off it and the pods came with them. If they are different can someone with the parts manual get me the part number for them? Thanks.

The Lucas nuts are captive and won't work on the Bosch injectors. I'm sure the shop that redoes your stockers can supply you with nuts.

Well at $60 a pop for the rebuild on the stockies, Im sticking with the pods and definitely doing a valet switch.

Valet switch controls a solenoid in the boost feed line to the afc housing, cutting boost feed off to afc, thus reducing fueling under boost, hence less smoke/lower egt's when you don't need all the power.

So I take it you're not selling the POD's?

If you go back up on the star wheel and out on the screw on the top off your pump that will help with smoke a lot and not loose any topend. Also max out your pump against the head ( advance the pump) POD's love all the advance you can get. I did mine and it is great. Also do a 3K GSK to keep the rpm up and not lug the B while shifting with those 3.07's. Did you not use the 14cm housing? If you still have it PM me.

I've been considering installing one for winter time driving cause up here I drive on a lot of snow and ice which makes spinning tires easy with a stocker let alone a tweeked pump. How much less power does a valet switch hold to?

Yeah I used it, just a moron in my signature. I plan on maxing the timing. The smoke is bearable with the timing, atleast with the ksb it is. Heres my next few mods: put the ksb on a switch, valet switch, timing bump, homemade w/m injection, maybe something else.
