While we was inside doing the KDP-we noticed timing marks on the pump gear- A-E-E being Calif emissions-can 1 reset this to the C rating-being I don't live in an emission county of the state of AZ-just something we saw and had a question about-any answers would be appreciated-thanks in advance! PM if you don't want to post it!

 

Leave it be. E is not an emissions setting, it's the correct setting for a 5.9 with a VE pump. If you want to play with timing, rotate the pump. One tooth is a huge change in timing and will make the engine run like crap.

 

Thanks Dave-just was asking and saw a little about in the service manual! Will leave well enough alone! I have already adavanced the timing 1/8". All is well!
