Proportioning/Combination Valve Source?

Hey folks,

So, looking at my brakes, I noticed the little titty sticking out of the combo valve that allows you to pressure bleed the front brakes is bent.

I'm having brake problems and want to replace the valve for good measure.

No place I look seems to have them, though.

I saw reference to a site called wermopar.com, but their homepage just says 'under construction'

Anyone have any idea on where I can easily source one of these parts?

Thanks!

I used one of these on my truck, works fine.

only thing is your brake light isnt hooked up to it and you'll have to pull the bulb

Thanks for that,

I'd kind of like to keep it OEM if I can help it, though.

The only place I could find one is wermopar.com ...Mark If this is for your stiff pedal, I don't think a new combination valve is going to solve it. I have seen too many parts arrive from the store bad, so 1.5 years is not at all surprising, my opinion as always.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for that!

If I may, how much did you pay for the proportioning valve you ordered from them?

I think it was around 140 but I will see if I can find out exactly...Mark It was 129.12 plus shipping. I ordered a bunch of stuff so I don't know how much for just the valve. There is no part number, but their description is:

Hydraulic system, Pressure metering valve, PRESSURE METERING VALVE, All Models, 4WD ...

If you'd settle for a used one, but good working order, I have one still sitting in my 1993 donor vehicle. if interested PM me.
