power window problem

sounds like you may need a new window motor. maybe its sticking. bang on the door panel somewhat hard. see if you can break it free and get it to roll up. similar symptoms when my window motor went bad. do both sides same time and save a headache next time.

Check for power at switch and motor, if no power check fuses and fusible links. When the window seals and window track rollers get old, dry and stiff it takes a lot more amps to operate window. Get your rollers working and a little light grease in the track will help a lot.

Does the motor try to run but just cannot lift the window?
The counterbalance spring could be broken.
I have also had the connector fall off the motor
