I building a truck for a customer and have a problem. He has two different eng. configurations ,one 24 v and one 12 v, the 24v is out of a 99 IH dump truck, the 12 valve is out of a 93 Dodge. The 24v has a Air compressor/P.S. pump combo below the fuel pump, the 12 valve has a power steering/vac pump combo. He wants to use the 12v in the truck but wants the Air Compressor combo on it. Can it be changed? Are the drive gears the same? Do I need to change gears from one to the other?
