Should just be the 4 nuts between them, internally, just a dog and guide, so it should come apart, be careful there is a seal between the two.

Wannadiesel, you have to go through all that just to seperate the two?

My factory manual just says the 4 nuts and seperate.

If it's a non-intercooled '91 then the PS pump drive is pressed into the vac pump. The intercooled '91.5 trucks are like yours, they fall apart when you unbolt the PS pump. I assumed since they couldn't figure out how to get it apart it was the old setup.
