I'm putting the steering gear box back on today. Got the frame welded, new bolts and washers,new extreme Borgeson. The question--Can I tack the nut on the 3 bolts that hold the bracket to the frame, so that they don't vibrate loose again?

 

I'd be more inclined to use lockwashers and some loktite in the event you have to remove them again. I don't see why you couldn't tack them, though, as long as they don't get too hot.
