Power King tires premium traction

I know these tires have been brought up several times over the years and i've been looking for this tread pattern for a year with no look. It turns out, they are still making them. I had to call the manufacturer in kentucky and they found the closest dealer to me. So i called the dealer and they had 4 9.00-16 power kings in stock. These are still a biased ply tire......so imagine my shock when he told me they were 279.00 dollars apeice!!!!! I asked him if they sold many of them and he said not in the 2 years since he's been there. I wonder why!!!!!! lol

They are sweet looking though. My buddy up in PA has a 78 Ford Wrecker with the Power kings on the back and some sort of locking rear. Will pull/push/go through anything. Awesome.

My bad.....it's in Memphis, TN. They didn't sell direct from there. The service lady looked up my closest dealer, it was Blue stem farm and home in Emporia, KS. 1-800-238-6469. Google TBC Brand tires. then go to power king under the brand selections. If the tire is as good as they used to be, them they should last forever. Which would also make it, almost worth the price..... but dang!!! That tread pattern was awesome in the mud, designed to crawl slow thru the mud, did not require rpm's to clean the tread out.
