Case 930 comfort king power steering.

Anyone know where I can find a power steering pump for a mid to late 60's case tractor? Called Sexsmith used tractor parts and a few case dealers here and there. Got nowhere. I am thinking just about any power steering pump will work as long as it turns the right direction and a mounting bracket can be fabricated. But who knows! I am not a case tractor specialist by any means.

Have you tried googleing it? (I know you proably have, but just checking) I know that down in the states there are lots of guys that are really into the old tractor stuff.. Just an off shot did you try ebay? Also on Comp D there is a section for guys to talk about old tractors, that might be a good place to try too.

Hey John

What is the problem with the steering? I might be able to help you out on this one... then again I might not. Depends how the UBI part of my brain is working at the moment.

I am pretty sure for whatever reason the power steering pump is not creating any pressure at all. Something worn out in it i am thinking. Have not teed in a gauge to verify......

tee in a gauge, just for fun... and because you know you want to.

I have seen a simple mechanical failure on some farm equipment, cause a problem that you would swear is the power steering pump, but turns out to be a loose nut behind the wheel, and not necessarily the current owner/operator.
