popping sounds when I pat the gas....

When I have my truck in park and pat the gas real quick or for bout 2 seconds it acts like it misses and pops a little bit......

I have no idea why.

and one other quick thing, wheres the best place to get some PODS and an aftermarket compressor housing............htt i think it is?

Thanks in advance

how long has it been doing it? i know when i added more fuel to my truck, it would do the same thing that your truck is doing. i just added a little bit of timing and it cleared up and ran alot better.

Might be exactly what you said, A miss.

one of the injectors may be putting out crappy PSI or just clogged up.

Good place to get an aftermarket (60mm) compressor housing is GDS, Gillett diesel service.. much much cheapter than HTT and the GDS housing/wheel is the same thing as the HTT one

You undid the boost line right???? the one that goes into the AFC cap ???

You may have to give it some more tension at first to break it lose

If everything is loose then give the AFC housing a couple of raps with a mallet.

ya the boost tube is disconnected...........these where my steps

1. undo boost tube
2. undo 3 nuts on the pump
3. undo bolt on the bracket behind pump

its just seems like theres too much pressure on the strap, like almost as much as strappin down a 4wheeler......im afraid of breakin somthin..

yeah mine was the same, timing helped it. A new fuel filter helps too,

an injector may be off though if it keeps doin it, I think mine are gettin off, after all they have 236,000 on them, time for some big ones when i get the money
