PODS. Pics or Vids of smoke?

Ok I'm getting ready to install PODS. Does anyone have a video of a 1st gen with them or even a pic with the worst possible smoke. I'm hoping it isn't too bad ....

Smoke can easily be controlled with AFC settings, fuel screw position and most importantly your right foot.

You can fog out 4 lanes of traffic or you can drive clean. Like Bill said, it's mostly related to what your right foot is doing.

Cody, is the hood open in case of runaway? I've noticed a few trucks dynoing that way in pics, never in person. Care to add any updates on your rig?

Holy SMOKE!!!! Oh well. I drive over 50 miles one way to work now and the wife just came in and asked if I wanted to start to drive her 2005 Jetta TDI everyday to work and she will drive my truck 3 miles to her work. Now I KNOW she won't want to drive the truck hahaha. Maybe I'll go buy another car to drive to work. We were planning on buying a used Viper (2000 or 2001) but that won't make a great commuter vehicle. If I could only buy a new VW Toureg TDI......

When I've dynod other vehicles *my 98 camaro SS or my blown 00 Dakota R/T* we left the hoods open because you have to connect sensors to the engine while you do the dyno run.

You can usually see a 5-7 hp gain by removing the air filter completely and open the hood to get some air inside the engine compartment. What kind of updates would you like to know about the truck?

So you don't need all the sensor hookups for the diesel? I know with the blown Dakota I was concerned with the air/fuel ratio and such. I guess dyno'ing a diesel is a different beast.

Yup, it's like running a wood stove: how much fuel do you have and how hot are you willing to get it!
