Pluggin up return line

I know on some of the big cam Cummins you can pinch the return line and make it take the fuel u give it and add some power. Can you do it on our trucks?

These trucks require by-pass fuel to cool thre VP44. Pinchingthe return line will insure an early VP44 failure.

And to think, all this time I thought only 24v trucks had VP44's.

12valvin...don't do that.

WestTN is still on the mark though. The VE Rotary injection pump depends on fuel to keep cool. Pinching off the return will stop the fuel circulation, thus stopping the cooling. Bad idea.

Thats what i was thinking is it would affect the cooling. Wouldn't it start blowing out seals over time and leak everywhere too if you had higher inlet pressures?. The return line banjo bolt is already micro. It surprises me that fuel even goes through it.
