Piston LP spring
Does anyone have a low pressure piston lift pump spring handy? I want to verify the spring rate of the spring.
I'm trying to find a spring that I can put in my HP 2nd gen pump to give ~15-20 psi. As the low pressure spring in the 2nd gen pump only gives ~10psi.
Thanks!

BC847 can more than likely answer that question as he's disassembled both low pressure and high pressure pumps. the info you're looking for could very well be in the sticky article he wrote when comparing the 2 pumps.

I've already looked in that thread and he doesn't have that specific info. I have the high pressure spring spec'd, and I have the low pressure spring in the pump on the truck right now. Really I just don't want to take the spring out to measure it, but I guess I will.
I think i've got a spring picked out, but I don't want to order it until I verify that its between the low pressure and high pressure. Right now i'm only getting 10psi with the low pressure spring in the big 2nd gen pump.
