Im going to change out the pcm on my 1992 D350 diesel,5 speed. Will a pcm off of a 93 work? or do I have to stay with a 92?

 

Even if the PCM module is the same hardware, the ROM code is probably different due to the different EPA requirements. But maybe not, wait for more experienced replys. I got an old mechanical beast for this reason.

FWIW, I had a '92 FSM for a while and the wiring diagram was identical to my '93 FSM. If you can get a '93 PCM cheap it wouldn't hurt to try it, should plug right in and work fine (according the the diagrams).
