So my truck in my sig is having issues. It wont hold overdrive, it goes in and out constantly. As soon as it drops into od, and the engine has to rev just the tiniest bit to keep speed it will drop out again. The truck has had the pump turned up and I don't know if they adjusted any linkage. I was wondering if maybe I could just rig the od switch to where I could kick it in when I wanted to and bypass any linkage issues?

 

Sounds like a bad tps either replace it or look in the sticky at the potentiometer mod.
