Hey Folks,
I would like for someone to tell me the RPMs, therebout, where the oil pressure hits 55 lbs.
4th gear at 60 or 65(3.55 gears-235-85-R16) and i'm on 55 lbs with warm motor.
Shift to 5th and the pressure drops to around 50 lbs, sometimes 48.
Just wondred if the bypass or some such was failin'.
I know this pressure won't hurt anything, well, ya see, it wasn't this way 120,000 mi ago. Sittin on 250,000 mi.
Anybody?

Nope, normal wear on the bearings. I wouldn't worry about it.

I just had to put an inexpensive mechanical gauge on mine and with 275K miles on the clock, it runs about 53psi @ 2000RPM on a warm engine.
