Thanks Mark!
I could not have asked for a better birthday present than driving my project around under its own power. I have pushed, dragged, winched, come-a-longed, pulled and trailered that thing around for just over 3 years now.

It looked like such an easy project. I was glad you got it though.

I am very glad I got it too, but it was not the quick and easy "almost done" project I pictured either. I figured I would be driving it two years ago.
My friends and I have been jokingly calling it the hand tight project for the past year or two. We named it that as everything that looks ready to go, it actually just bolted together hand tight and ready to fall apart and kill you on the first test drive.
At least I got to rebuild and re-work everything other than the frame welding and check it all out. Now if something is still hand tight it was on my watch...

The last time I wet through there, they were restoring the school. Probably to be a museum. Lots of mining activity there. Not a bad little town with lots of interesting history.

Speaking of the DMV, I tried to get my smog-exempt '73 title edited via the 'statement of facts' to change fuel type from G to D. Every employee was lost at grasping this concept and sent me to the BAR referee. We'll see how this goes. So, I put a Smog Exempt 1993 D250 Diesel Powertrain in a Smog Exempt 1973 D200 that originally had a Gas 400. What exactly are they going to 'referee' on this, I haven't a clue. Guess I shouldn't have poked the bear. Wish me luck, if anything. on me if they try to impound it.
