odometer and speedometer quit working

odometer and speedometer quit working
My odometer quit working on my 92 and now my speedometer is not keeping accurate speed (going crazy). I thought it was the instrument cluster. Replace it with no success. any suggestions.

Mine does the same thing, odemeter works fine but the speed-0 bounces around. I've heard you have to grease the small plastic gear in the cluster? I've replaced the speed sensor in my NP205 and it's getting power.. I'm not sure about the rest.
