OD OFF switch does not work

i finally got the dough to have my trans rebuilt. the install went smoothly and the transmission seems to work fine.

only issue is the OD off switch does not seem to be working. im not sure if it was working before the swap, as i never tow and really have little use for it.

nonetheless, i would like to get it working.

Probably a bad switch or no ground to it. It's a momentary pushbutton that tells the PCM you pushed the button. The PCM starts off in "OD" mode, if it sees ground from that button being pressed it locks you out of OD and turns on the light. A second momentary ground will turn off the light and allow an OD shift if the PCM determines you should be in OD.

With the key on you should have power to the orange/white wire(comes from the PCM). You should also have power at the blue/white wire, that powers the light. The black wire needs to be a good ground at all times.
