NV4500 swap

Howdy all. Have some quick questions for you guys and gals. Bought a 93 D350 with the NV4500 already swapped in by previous owner. He didn't put the speed sensor in and I'm trying to. He never said if the tranny came out of a GM or dodge. Haven't done a swap and wanted to see what you folks could give me for info. First manual I've owned in a lot of years so I'm needing a bit of help. Don't know if the adapter shown is a dodge or GM one

Best I can tell, that is a Dodge 2WD trans from 93-97, which if the information I have is correct, should be the only one that had a mechanical speedo.

Ok. So then Is this driving a speedo cable or is it with a speed sensor like in the autos?

It will use the same sensor as the automatic. it screws on to the adapter gear.

Will it be a 3 prong connector or 2 prong?

Can't help you with that one, I don't have a 93 service manual.

Sorry.

No worries. Just ordered one for a 92 that looks like it will fit in there. The 93 looks like it bolts on to the side of the tranny without the adapter. I'll see if I'm correct or not
