nv4500 gasser transmission

Hello, i was looking at a NV4500 transmission out of a second gen 2wd gasser.

What would it take to fit it to the truck in my sig? Would it be worth buying for $300? Any input helpful, thanks

I'm pretty sure that you'd blow that sucker up in no time flat. The diesel units are built for the diesel/V10's.

You might be able to "upgrade" the components to make it work...but you'd probably spend more in parts to convert it then it would cost to find and buy an original NV4500 from a diesel.

different input shafts I believe. But for the price, an upgrade might be worth it.
