Morning, I got sissys truck finished with the nv4500 tranny. The only thing i cant seem to find is the speedo gear in the tranny. I'm hoping one of you that has done the swap knows a source. The part number is 52068153, the speedo is off a lot and i'm being hounded by an unruley sister, "please help stop this" .

 

A good speedo shop can build you an adapter that will correct the speedo. When I did my NV4500HD I had my dad drive at a set speed and followed him. I gave the speedo shop his speed and mine and they bulit an adapter that fit on to the sender at the tranny - problem solved. The cost was under $60.00 and my speedo is less than 1% off.
