Install a 16cm housing, set of Pods, crank in the fuel screw, you should see about 25-30 psi, butt loads of black smoke and high EGT's. Oh Yeh, and then you may need a new tranny Mine will go to 28 with the stock injectors and 16cm housing, fuel is to high to play with the PODS. City mpg is back to 16 and hiway @ 19-20

same here on the housing mine is 21 as well but i am hitting 24 psi of boost. do you have a pyro in it yet. If so i would do a search on pump adjustments they are easy to do and free. that is how i am getting that kind of boost.

12-14 psi is normal for a stock '92. That 21 cm housing doesn't make a lot of boost.

On the TST website, there are detailed instructions on how to turn up that pump.

The auto had the 21 cm, and the stick had the 18.5. I pulled the same boost as you are Before a few mods. were performed. now I pull 38 psi on flat ground. with lot's of black smoke for desert. Get all of yopur guages and start playing and have fun, but do keep an eye on those guages.

I have a 92 stick, and it had the 21cm, all 92's had the 21cm auto or manual.

I get a max of around 23 with stock injectors and a few small adjustments with the 18.5.

It does not get those numbers untill higher rpm and under a good load. Adjusting the AFC made a BIG difference at mid RPM. Used to hit around 14-15 up steep hills pulling the trailer, now I hit 18-19 and have a very noticable power increase..EGTs as well. Went from 950-1200 on a long hill.

On a truck with stock injectors, that is a great turbo. It's the turbo they should have put on the truck in the first place. If it's in good shape, pay the man and put it on your truck. You'll love it!

I got the same boost numbers (13-14) on mine with stock injectors and a 21. I added the BHAF setup, set the high idle screw for more travel and 2 turns on the full power still with the stok injectors. I now get 24 psi.
