Non I/C radiator, can I fit a 93 i/c around it?

Guys I am wondering something. I was wondering something. Can I take a 90 radiator (using a 92 gas rad support) and cut the two holes to fit a 93 I/C around it? I know most would say why not just install a 92-93 rad support but I want to be different. Plus I only have one spare support for several trucks (spare). I wanted a non i/c engine to make a swap more simple but if I can simply cut two holes for it to fit through why not. I already have the elbows and clamps. So what do you think? Has anyone out there installed a I/C on a non I/C support and used the non I/C radiator? Thanks, Robert

Yes numerous times, it's easy. Fits like a charm.

good to know I'm going to do this on my '72 now as well. I hope the Intercooler doesn't heat up the air too much for the small non i/c style non crossflow radiator.
