Heated Wipers/Fluid anyone? Wrap wiper fluid hose around radiator hose?

Geno's used to have a heated wipers or fluid option, and I can't find it back now.

Anyone tried anything worth while lately?

The last blizzard we had, the wipers kept icing up bad and freezing ice big time, even the arm out the window slap stop working. 1/4 mile they would build up again, even with defrosters on high/hot.

I read another post where someone extended the wiper fluid hose, wrapped it around the radiator hose and it worked well, both in summer and winter.

I'd rather have heated wipers, than wasting fluid, as it would problably just refreeze.

Thanks,
John

Here in Alaska are washer fluid is rated for -50, it has methanol added. You need to use extreme winter wipers. They have a thin rubber boot that goes all the way around the wiper body and keeps it from freezing.
