No taillights

So I was driving along and suddenly my dash lights went out. I still have all the important ones just no backlighting to my gauge cluster. I have headlights, reverse lights, and brake lights, but no rear taillights. Has this happened to anyone? Would love an easy fix before I go tearing into the wiring with a test light.

Ps fuses all look good.

something similar happened to me, ended up that one of the wires on the headlight switch plug had come loose and was no longer making a connection

You probably grounded out and lost a fuse. I bet your front marker lights don't work either. Do you have wiring for trailer lights? Check the wiring there after you check the fuse.

Happened on my Ford and it was the headlight switch (just worn out, slight evidence of heat). They would come on sometimes a few bumps later or if i played with it a bunch. I've read it's an issue here too I think.

Ok thanks guys. I went through the fuses taking a closer look and found a sneaky bugger that was just barely blown. Kinda interesting cause last time I lost just the dash lights and replaced that fuse. It appears the dash lights gets power from two places or maybe the blown fuse was still making contact for awhile. Anyway she's all good now thanks for the help.
