No Headlights!
No Headlights!
Howdy all,
Lost the headlights a couple weeks back...the highbeam switch seemed like it wasn't clicking so I figured combo-switch. Replaced it and still I'm in the dark.
The old headlight switch was kind of notchy and I got to thinking how I've read they fail all the time...soooo I decided to replace that too...still no luck.
Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Vinny

Jumper-wire a bulb to see if it is shot; kinda way out there, but it is possible some weird serge, or lightening strike could have knocked out both of them.
Do you still have parking-lights ??

Hey thanks for the idea's,
I did jumper-wire the lights to get home that night, and put in a temporary switch (on the jumper-wire) so I had lights until I had a chance to swap-out the switch (that I thought was bad).
The headlights work fine when jumpered, and just the running lights come on when I pull the switch.
I'm thinking maybe one of the wires coming out of the plug on the headlight switch could be fubar...
