New truck.... IP is loose

tonight I picked up a '93 W350 ext. cab dually. The odometer says 66,000 miles, the rust says its seen some time. It has its issues but the price was good.

First order of buisness, the injector pump is missing two of the studs, it will move all over. It ran like crap, I dont know how long the PO drove it like this. I stopped and picked up ratchet strap to tighen it up until I fix it.
If the truck has been run like this for a while what may be hurt? should I tear down and look for problems or just get new studs and hope for the best?

On the bright side I dont have to pry and reef on the pump to advance the timming.

Dang, that's the dumbest thing I've heard so far today. The things some people will do, sheesh.

I would just put the studs back in. Probably wore the drive gears a little funny, but they'll live.
