Hey guys,

I'm trying to get this old truck of mine ready for a new owner...and the last thing on my list is the blinkers. They worked fine until recently. Took out the fuse panel and swapped the flasher to the hazards...hazards work fine. Not the flasher. The fuse for the blinkers is also ok.

Any idea why the hazards would work, but not the blinkers?

This rules out the flasher and all the bulbs, and the majority of the wiring. Doesn't rule out the column, and whatever wiring is under the wheel, though.

Nevermind...got it figured out and working again.

2 flashers, one hazards, one turn signals..........

 

Ha, I stole my hazard flasher to replace my TS flasher a long time ago and I guess I must have accidentally turned on the hazards. It looks like a hazard turned on without a flasher equals inoperative TS.
