New Truck!!!

Ok well its not really a new truck but it is to me. Just got a 93' single cab LWB 2500 2WD from my uncle. Goin to cut the frame down a bit and make a drag/pullin truck out of it. I'm so happy! Benn wantin' to do it for a long time and finally got the truck. So now i cant wait to start the project. Dad is goin to buy me a hi-performance injector pump and bigger injectors and do some other mods. I will post picks as i go. Let me know what yall think and any advice or knowledge will be helpful and appreciated. Thanks!

Here are some pics of our progress.

We took a grand total of 21 inches of out the frame which i believe makes it even shorter than a swb. I think it looks pretty neat. We still have a lot to do though. We are custom making a bed of some sort. Going to put 12X16.5 wheels in the back not sure what size tires we are gonna run yet and we are also going to lift the front end up a bit. But will post pics as we make more progress.

Are you going to add any additional material to the frame where the new joints are? Looks like alot of fun. Good luck and keep us posted please!

Yes whatever we decide to do as far as a bed goes will be used to help beef up the new joints and we also may add some gussets just for added support to help strengthen the frame.

New pics!

Got a new fuel tank, new 33x12.5 tires on the back. Raised the front up about an inch. Gonna take the home made stack off and put a chrome stack on where it is full straight pipe all the way back. Tell me what yall think. Gonna try fabbing some kind of a bed next.

Actually we are at least wanting to get the wheels off the ground. We are gonna put weights in the rear of the frame. So we will see what happens.
