Ow! I think they're gonna have to total that Hyundai. How bad of a headache did the driver have? Your truck definitely came out better, looks like a bumper will make it right. Did the bumper get into the valence panel?

I see your nephew's truck got the teflon primer.

I hope you are ok

Looks like the dodge ended up ok. A new bumper and it also looks like the fender is bent a bit. I hope everyone is ok. Can you give us some specs on the other dodge I like that lift.

Cool

I hope everyone was okay! Looks to me like you need to sell that truck-accident prone now!

The guy lived, although I was worried when I saw his eyes moving in different directions, like this . He pulled out in front of me and I had no place to go (cars on both sides of me). This actually happened two years ago. It actualy diamoned my frame by an inch, but insurance fixed everything.
The two black lines I made with my locked tires might be still there!

On my Nephews truck, It's a non-IC 1991 with the pump turned up right next to runaway, an 8" lift, auto, and as Dave said, teflon primer. I am going to mentor him on changes he needs to make, although he is pretty darn smart and picks it up fast. He is a certified mechanic at Saturn. Before he put the big tires on it one of his mouthy co-workers taunted him in his new FROD, and my nephew proceeded to whoop his butt in a race!

Anyway, my truck is ready to go with the Gear Vendors as soon as the new speedo adapter cable and adapter seals/o-rings show up. I think I can use the computer for an auto as long as I leave it in manual mode (although it might be fun just to see what happens in auto mode!). The parts are supposed to be here Monday or Tuesday. Until then I am banished to the '93 Grand Cherokee. At least I have the "6" in it with a big exhaust....

Hey Dave, should I grind off my AFC while the truck is down?

Don't you have enough smoke control and EGT issues a mile and a half up?

The drawback to grinding the AFC lever is that you have to be very gentle at low boost unless you want to leave a giant cloud of thick smoke. Your altitude will make it even worse. If you are willing to modify your driving style I'm sure you can drive it clean, but you will have to drive like there's an egg on the pedal until boost builds.

Thanks Dave.
Is the power difference noticable? I already have to drive carefully at low boost, so it wouldn't change my driving style too much. Just tell me it's worth it!

Yes, there is a noticeable increase in power (and EGT).
