New to me 1st gen

Well guys after now owning a 95 5 speed (wrecked), and an 03 (my dream truck), I have now decided to swallow my pride and sorta down grade on trucks. I just picked up a cherry 93 single cab auto 2wd for 2500 bucks. Runs great just had to convert the a/c. My family and friends think my crazy but im serious about gettin out of debt. This new old first gen sure is growing on me though. Im startin to see why so many people love these old trucks. A little pump adjustments and we should be good to go. I got my 3rd gen advertised in the classifieds if anyones interested. Chris

You aint downgrading if you are jumping the debt ship.

Welcome to the dark side!

i hear it all the time "why do you drive them old pickups" "you got money get a new one" thats when i say that is why i could buy a new one with cash. debt for stuff is wrong for me. modest house or business well then yes . but for stuff no.

Upgrade for sure.
My dad gets a sad look in his eyes when the 93 gets better mileage and has NO COMPUTER problems when compared to his 07' 6.7

Thats right. If there is fuel in the tank and enough juice in the battery to spin it over about a half turn then she will start.

Don't worry about that debt thing - once the bombing bug bites a truck payment might be cheaper.

Seriously, though - being debt free is awesome! That's why I still need more air, something else always seems to come up and I'm not willing to go back in debt for a turbo I don't absolutely need.
