Well I finally picked up another 5"to 4" reducer so i came home and took the flapper stack off and put the turnout on and clamped it on. So now i've got all 3 tips to choose from, the short mitre, the flapper, or the turnout. I kinda like the turnout. It is a lot louder than the other tips cuz it pushes the sound out to the side and echoes off of everything instead of the sound goin straight up and spreadin out. Goin through town with all the buildings sounds pretty cool! Its real quiet on the drivers side outsided of the truck, but not on the outside of the passenger side! It sounds good though! i like it.
Here is some pics
I know you can see the chrome clamp at the bottom of the stack, I just need to cut the reducer shorter or get it farther down on the elbow so the clamp will be under the hood so you cant see it. I'll fix that when i get more time.
what do ya think?

all of em look good i like the flat top with the flapper myself, for edit and giggles one time after i took my 5 inch mitre off and put my 4 inch all the way on i took my 5 inch mitre since it was layin in the bed and sat it on the hood in a farm fresh parkin lot to show off to my buddys and to see what it looked like and not even 10 minutes later a cop rolled up ready to give me a ticket then i had to prove it wasnt really a hood stack hahaha

Looks good ! My pick for looks would be the turn out for sure. Definetly unique and I hope you can slide by the troopers with it. I can see the truckers you pass on the interstates rollin' their windows up. Luck be with ya bro !

I like the turn out the best. I know a couple of people who have hood stacks here in Texas and they were able to get their trucks inspected o.k.. That is in less populated areas though. Then there are guys who are getting tickets for not having a muffler with a stack behind their cab. I guess change is comin on.

oh this thing is fun, I've had a hood stack for about 4 months now and have seen a lot of cops and they haven't done a thing about it so I'm gonna leave it, I like it! I have an extra black hood if i ever have to go back. And i can still get the flame to come out of all the tips at night, even the 24" flapper. I like the turnout a lot, it definately sounds the best and it is different. Ha the top of my radio antenna is a little black though... And when i go out in the cold mornings and there is frost all over the windshield, all i gotta do is rotate it towards the window and turn on the truck and then i would have a faster defroster!!! I haven't tried that yet but i've thought about it! Its pretty fun because i can just change the tips depending on my mood, I'll probably leave the flapper on most of the winter though... I'll try and get a video of it or at least a pic of it rollin some coal. Thanks guys!

I don't think I could get through Madison with one of those on my truck, but I am looking for a winter truck, so if I get one, that is gonna happen! I would weld some expanded metal inside though, for the day that someone decides to put something down your stack and ruin your turbo.
