That was done previously when I originally put a w/g housing on. I just trimmed it up a bit to put some extra room between the stock exhaust and the insulation. Theres about an inch of room between it right now with the 4".

Thanks It's getting there, slowly but surely! Now I'm back in school though so the money doesn't pour in like it does in the summer. Just waiting on my HTT Stage 3 now so I can give her more fuel.

Thanks for uploading the pics!

I'm considering getting rid of the stock downpipe since the rest is 4" straight-piped, but want to be sure it's worth the investment since I have a 12cm w/g housing, but I will be installing the 3200 gov spring. Decisions, decisions...

any new updates from those running the DP?

either way...I ordered one from Stan's today...

FYI...you don't have to request a downpipe for a wastegate anymore...for the 1st Gen, they modified their DP to gain ~7/8" clearance, and are only offering the one version that would work in either application...

they charged me $180 + shipping...

No problem's here. Pre-turbo EGT's rarely see over 1100* unless its pretty warm out. No signs of bad welds or wear or anything of that sort.
Overall, I'm lovin it.
